One week from now's scene of the CBS comic drama, featuring Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon, will highlight visitor appearances from performers from Marshall's acclaimed TV appears, including Ron Howard, Marion Ross, Anson Williams and Don Most from 'Cheerful Days'; Marshall's sister Penny and Cindy Williams from 'Laverne and Shirley'; and Pam Dawber from 'Mork and Mindy,' as per the Hollywood Reporter. Marshall, who passed on July 19 at age 81, built up the first "Odd Couple" arrangement featuring Tony Randall and Jack Klugman. He played Perry's father Walter in an April scene, his last acting part before biting the dust from intricacies of pneumonia. One week from now's tribute scene will see Oscar (Perry) reconnect with "numerous huge individuals from his dad's life when he consents to do his last wish to spread his fiery remains behind the confection industrial facility he used to possess," as indicated by the Hollywood Reporter. "The written work staff and everybody on 'The Odd Couple' reboot was excited when Garry Marshall went along with us as a maker since his shows were a piece of our TV DNA," official maker Bob Daily said Monday in an announcement. "He was a kind, liberal nearness on the set, and we adored him beyond all doubt. Furthermore, when we lost him, we knew we needed to accomplish something to respect his legacy — something that, similar to Garry's work, was both ardent and wacky. We are grateful to the point that the stars of these great shows can go along with us in respecting him."
